Rev Lovett Leslie Burch, pastor of Bowdon and Shiloh Methodist Church, died suddenly Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his wife, the former Clara Askew, of Stockbridge, Ga; two sons, L L Burch Jr, and Joe S Burch, both of Atlanta; three daughters, Mrs L C Anthony, Atlanta; Mrs H D Bailey, Bermuda, and Miss Sue Carol Burch, of Bowdon; three brothers, W H Burch, D O Burch and Barney Burch, all of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug 2 at 11 am, at Bowdon Methodist Church. Rev Delmar Haygood, of Rome; Rev Claude Hendrick, of Atlanta; Rev J S Thrailkill, of LaGrange; Rev J W Segars, of Carrollton and Rev Gordon Ezell, of Bowdon, will officiate. Ministers will serve as honorary escort. Interment will be in Flippen Methodist cemetery in Henry County. Bailey Funeral Home, Bowdon, Ga.
