Lincoln Curtis Ammons, 78, of Trimble, Missouri, passed away at home, Tuesday, March 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. L.C. was born June 9, 1938 to Lincoln and Pearl (Cowell) Ammons, in Deer, Arkansas.

After graduation, he moved to Kansas City, MO for work and on August 15, 1959, L.C. married the love of his life Wilma Edgmon. He was employed in the Graphic Arts Industry for 43 years. After retirement he enjoyed RV traveling with Wilma around the United States. He also enjoyed spending time working in his garden, cooking for the family, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents, a brother; Paul Ammons and two sisters; Ineva Ludwig, and Mary Jo Dunkin.

L.C. is survived by his wife of 57 years, two daughters; Stephanie (John) Rivera of Kansas City, KS, and Monica (Joe) Norton, of Smithville, MO, Sisters; Ruby Young, Marianna Willis, and Sandra Phillips, a brother Audie Ammons, also surviving are three grandchildren; Chance Rivera, and Emily and Spencer Norton, and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be Monday, March.20, 2017 starting at 10 AM with a service immediately following at 11 AM at Terrace Park Funeral Home; 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO. Burial to follow at a later date.
