LOUISE BIRKLEY SUTTON
93, died Monday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. She was a homemaker and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Kersten-O'Day Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Dayton. A son, Roy Birkley, died in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Schock of Cincinnati; a son, Joe Birkley of Ft. Thomas; a sister, Ann Roller of Ft. Thomas; a brother, William Kaelin of Bellevue; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ Church United Church of Christ, Ft. Thomas. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to the church. Muehlenkamp- Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas, is in charge of arrangements.
Louise was the daughter of Joseph & Anna (Hoffman) Kaelin. She was married three times. First to Joseph Rowekamp on Jan 10, 1919 in Cincinnati, Ohio; then to Joseph Birkley on Jan. 10, 1925 in St John German Evangelical Protestant Church in Newport. Joseph died April 5, 1951; She married Harry Albert Sutton in July 1954 in Newport, KY.
