Mrs. Myrtia Johnson, 90, of 235 North Main Street, Geneva, died Tuesday night at the Jay County Hospital in Portland following a brief illness.
She was born in Piqua County, O., May 21, 1881, a daughter of Richard and Susanna Forrest-Davis, and was married to LeRoy B. Johnson April 23, 1901. Her husband preceded her in death.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Friends Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Miss Garnet Johnson of Geneva; one brother, Floyd Davis of Oblong, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Lora Collier of Geneva; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home at Portland, with Rev. Robert officiating, assisted by Peter Bollinger. Burial will be in Twin Hills Cemetery at Pennville. Friends may call at the funeral home until time of the services.
