Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Elmer Hall Jones and was the widow of Marion "Benny" Acors.
She had retired from the Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue.
She loved to cook, garden and she was a caregiver.
She is survived by her son Mark D. Acors; a sister, Shirley Harris; two step-sons, Donald Wayne Acors and Michael Acors; several nieces and nephews and her special friend, Billy Edenton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean McNabb and a brother, Willie E. Jones.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery.
