Clyde K. Fields passed away at the Mountain View Care Center at the age of 91. He moved to McGill, NV with his family at a young age. In 1918 he and his family moved to Elko, NV. Clyde graduated from Elko High School in 1927. After he was discharged from the service, he returned to Elko, NV where he went to work for the Nevada Youth Training Center, Public Service Commission, and Elko Police Department. Then he became of the original State Policemen, who later became the Nevada Highway Patrol. He later worked for the Vogue Laundry here in Elko as a driver/salesman retiring in 1975. In 1941 he married Laura Olabarria in Elko, NV. She preceded him in death in April 1988.
