Kurt L. Mueller, 73, of 18223 W. Washington Road, Kiel, died Sunday morning, Aug. 30, 1998 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 19, 1924 in the town of Schleswig, son of the late Edgar and Anna Kenneke Mueller. He attended Maple Grove School in the town of Schleswig. On Oct. 15, 1949, he married Delores Roethel at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners. Kurt farmed on the family homestead in the town of Schleswig all his life until his retirement.

He was a life-time member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, Louis Corners; a member of the Men’s Club and a past president of the church council

Survivors include his wife, Delores; three children, Sharon Hudson, Sheboygan; Linda (Jeffrey) Quast, Kiel; Larry (Kay) Mueller, St. Nazianz; five grandchildren, Kelly and Tyler Quast, Ryan, Matthew and Eric Mueller and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Larry Hudson.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, with the Rev. Ted Olson, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the CHURCH, on Wednesday, from 3 p.m. until the of services.
