wife of JosephNorma J. Carroll, 73, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 5:30 AM Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, Missouri.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO. Father Mike Quinn will officiate.

Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Hannibal, MO.

Friends and Family are invited to Norma's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.

Norma was born February 6, 1947, in Quincy, Illinois to Frank George Knuffman and Louise Martin Knuffman.

She was married to Joseph Carroll, Sr. on January 14, 1957 in Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1998.

Survivors include 3 sons: Joseph Carroll, Jr. (Angie) of Monroe City, MO, John Carroll (Christina) of Donnellson, IA and Jeffrey Carroll (Tiffany) of Hannibal, MO; 5 sisters: Rita Barbosa (Melito), Wanda Knuffman, Mary Taylor (Jessie), Peggy Neff (John) and Kathy Ellis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, James Franklin Carroll; 1 brother, Frank Charles Knuffman; and 2 sisters, Linda Louise Brinkley and Judy Ann Anders. Also preceding Norma in death were two great grandchildren, infant twin siblings, mother in law, Edna Carroll, father in law, Walter Carroll, brother in law, David Carroll and sister in law, Mary Carroll.

Norma was a homemaker.

A wonderful baker, Norma made the most delicious treats, candies and cookies and everyone always loved her apple pie. A love of shopping, looking for hidden treasures at garage sales or shopping at her favorite store, K-Mart were activities Norma enjoyed. The music of Elvis Presley, visits to Meramec Caverns or sipping her morning coffee were a few of Norma’s favorites. Most of all she cherished the moments she shared with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Norma was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norma’s grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Joe Carroll, John Carroll, Jeff Carroll, Sean Carroll, Austin Carroll, Melito Barbosa, Jake Gerard, Nick Tischer, and Ash Rogers.
