Charles was the son of Walter C., and Laura Young Goldsmith. He was a golf pro at Dearborn Country Club, and lived at 309 Sunnyside Avenue in Aurora. Charles died of apoplexy at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. He was married at the time of his death.
