Mrs. Hollis was born February 5, 1931, in Marks, Mississippi, and was the daughter of Eric Robert Martin and Maudie Crocker Martin.
She had lived in Haynes for the past thirty years and was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing Company.
Mrs. Hollis married Jessie J.(Jack) Hollis in 1950, and he survives her along with one daughter Mrs. Brenda Hollis Riden of Olive Branch, Mississippi; three sons, Mr. Edward Hollis of Knoxville, Tennessee, Mr. Karry Hollis of Wichita, Kansas and Mr. John Hollis of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Mr. Eric Martin, Jr. of Illinois, and Mr. Maxie Martin of Tennessee,; four sisters, Mrs. Christine Murphy of Illinois, Mrs. Faye Luther of the State of Washington, Mrs. Dorothy Jean York of Mississippi and Mrs. Judy Venavides of the state of Nevada, Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burial in Bell Cemetery just north of Palestine, Arkansas in St. Francis County.
