She was born in Utica and had lived in McAllen since 1915. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Eileen Crumrine and Margaret Mary Wood, both of San Antonio, Texas, Janet Mitchell of Cherry Valley, Ill., Rita Marino of Staten Island, NY and Ann Zellers of McAllen; five sons, Robert T. Savage of Portland, Texas, Laurence P. Savage of Glendale, Calif., John D. Savage of Houston, Texas, Richard L. Savage of Alamo, Texas and Timothy A. Savage of Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother, Frank Allen of Miami Springs, Fla.; two sisters, Grace Reis and Dorothy Kumpe, both of McAllen; 34 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited today (Monday) at 7:30 p.m. at the Kreidler Funeral Home in McAllen. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, December 17, 1990
