Mr. Rosenow died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Forest Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation, East Moline.
He was born Oct. 27, 1922, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Ida (Bealer) Rosenow. He married Donna Kelley March 23, 1974, in Green River, Ill. She died Dec. 31, 1993.
He had worked as a truck driver for Knox Trucking for 20 years.
He was a member of the AmVets, VFW and the American Legion.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting.
He was a WW II Navy-Armed Guard veteran.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy Kirklin, Silvis, Diane Johnson, Silvis, Christy Johnson, East Moline; a son, Robert Rosenow, East Moline; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
