Karen G. Huey Lee, of Orange Grove, TX, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 after a long hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born on January 20, 1950 in Raymondville, Tx to Otis and Frances Huey.
Karen worked at the First Community Bank for 25 years and a total of over 40 years in the banking industry. She was a kind-hearted and giving person. She made a living by what she got, but she made a life by what she gave. She was a friend to everybody in town. She treasured spending time with her family and her many pets. She loved to watch her shows, she loved to fish and bowling. She had a strong spirit that never gave up, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Karen will always be in the hearts of her loving husband of 50 years, Dennis R. Lee; her daughters, Sandy (Buddy) Surber, Dusti Clemence, and Misti Schneider; her eight grandchildren, Tiffany Adams, Sydney Surber, Bo Surber, Dillion Clemence, Zachary Clemence, Wyatt Clemence, Hannah Schneider and Trent Schneider; two great-grandchildren, Crash Adams and Blaze Adams; her mother, Frances Huey, five sisters and two brothers.
