Funeral services for Cecil Clyde Lackey who died Monday are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday in Mills Chapel. Lackey, 70, was a retired carpenter, member of Indianola Baptist Church, 32nd Degree Mason and veteran of World War II. He was born Mar. 16, 1908 at Haileyville and spent his life in the McAlester area. His wife, Oleta, died in 1962. Survivors include four daughters, Sue Lackey of McAlester, Loretta Kirby of Tulsa, Carol Adams of McAlester and Key Shed, San Diego, Calif.; two sons, Gerald of Denver, Colo., and Dale Lackey of McAlester; two brothers, Paul of Tupelo, Miss. and Leonard Lackey, Memphis, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rev. Frank Kimiceli, assisted by Rev. O. J. Finley will officiate at the services Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ed Lovelace, Dale Spears, Doy Green, Tug Mason, Bob Mouser and Jim Ogle. Honorary pallbearers include Louis Stambeck, Evans Bailey, Santi Cioni, James Fink and Junior Cathey.
