QUITMAN - Carolyn D. Lunsford, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

Carolyn was born Feb 8, 1930, in Childress, Texas. She was a homemaker until 1979, when she caught a second wind after raising four children and became an X-ray technician. She was a faithful Christian and loved to sing in the choir. She loved to cook and entertain more than anything else. She was devoted to her family, and her favorite time was when her family was together and surrounding her. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, C.C. Lunsford; parents; one brother; and three sisters.
Survivors: Daughter, Chris Black and husband, Ray; son, Perry Lunsford and wife, Elaine; daughter, Brenda Ross and husband, Don; daughter, Linda Ferris and husband, Tim; 10 grandchildren and their spouses; many great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mike Kimbrough.
