Funeral services for Arthur Sherman Aderholt, 64, of Winterville, were to be in the chapel of Boone-Wells Funeral Home in Greenville. Rev. Richard Deniston was to officiate. Burial was to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Boone-Wells had charge of arrangements.

Mr. Aderholt died 5 July 1977 at his home after an illness.

A native of Winston County, Alabama where he attended public schools, Mr. Aderholt moved to the Delta and farmed near Clarksdale and Drew until 1950 when he moved to Winterville.

Survivors are two sons, Ralph Sherman Aderholt of Greenville, and David Aderholt of Pascagoula; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie A. Trotter of Winterville, and Mrs. Jeanette Matthews of Drew; a brother, Ernie Aderholt of Belzoni; and three grandchildren.
