Billy's first wife was Georgia Ann Hudson and they married August 31, 1872 in Panola Co. Tx. They had one daughter Hettie Bell. Georgia died before 1879 and I do not know where she is buried. Billy married his second wife Laura Thomas October 23, 1879 and they had four children that I know of: two daughters, Willie Bell who married Henry Hardy Hunter, and Epsie Bell who married Charlie Burgess; two sons, Ozwil Thomas Bell who married Mary Emma Heaton, and Otto Harvey Bell who married a Lena Maxwell and a Jennie Compton. I have changed Billy's birth year from 1845 to 1849 to match memorial, however, my grandmother's bible, Mary Emma Heaton Bell, shows the birth year of 1849 with a line through it and 1845 written in her handwriting. Death certificate shows birth date as 1847. I will make no more changes to this memorial regarding the dates.
