Mrs Dorothy Lind Pfau, 62, of Market St., in the Kleiner Nursing Home. She had been in failing health for the past year and had suffered a stroke in April. She had been moved from the hospital to the nursing home last Saturday.
Mrs Pfau was born May 3, 1897, in Canton, a daughter of Mr & Mrs Lewis Lind and came to Youngstown in 1921. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and taught French at South High School from 1921-1923,
She was the wife of Otto L. Pfau, credit manager of the Strouss-Hirshberg Co., who survives her. She leaves a son, 1st Lieut. Frederick L. with the US Army, in Long Beach, Wash; a daughter, Mrs Miriam Shepperly of Detroit; two sisters, Miss Katherine Lind and Miss Etha Lind, both of Canton; and a brother, Herman of Cleveland.
