Reba Abbott Wilson passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, in Maryville.
She was born on Nov. 11, 1931, at Tremont in the Smokies, to parents Carl and Stella McNeilly Abbott.
Reba was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the Happy Helpers Sunday School class.
Predeceased by her parents; and her husband, James H. Wilson (Jimmy).
Reba is survived by her loving family: daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Peter Xiques, of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and DiAnne Wilson, of Walland; precious granddaughters and husbands, Rebecca Xiques and Aaron Pickering and Anna and David Rickels; and adorable great-granddaughter, Alice Rose Rickels, all of Knoxville. Also survived by sister and brother-in-law, June and Vernon Wilson; brothers and spouses, Carl and Bertha Abbott and Don and Laura Abbott; sister-in-law, Jama Wilson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will welcome friends on Thursday, May 23, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3736 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, 37804. A private interment will take place at a later date.
