Services for Oscar C. Peterson, 71, of 7016 Fairview Avenue, who died Friday at a local hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Relyea Chapel. Interment will be at Terrace Lawn.
Mr. Peterson was born July 31, 1892, at Seymour, Wis„ and moved to Nampa with his parents in 1909. He went to Gannett where he lived on a ranch until 1944 when he moved to Boise. He had lived here since that time. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad Company for 18 years before retirement two years ago. He married Pearl Leazinby March 23, 1921, at Shoshone. Mr. Peterson was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Capitol Post No. 136, American Legion.
Survivors are his wife of Boise; two sons, Robert of Mesa, Ariz., and William S. of Nampa; one daughter, Mrs. Darathy Pinard of Anchorage, Alaska; 14 grandchildren.
