JONESBORO — Henrietta Files, 84, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at her home. She has lived in Jonesboro since 1971, moving here from Elaine.


She attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Henrietta loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Files, her parents, three sisters and two brothers.


Survivors include her sons, Jim Files (Jan) and Tony Files (Joyce), and daughter, Lori Files, all of Jonesboro; sister, Jean Closs of Marshall, Mich.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one special nephew, Mike Doshier; and a host of other family and friends.


Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Gibson Cemetery with Wynndel King officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.


Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Files, Clint Massey, Bryan Files, Nathan Massey, Brent Files and Zach Massey.


Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Campbell, Cody Files, and Dustin McBee.


Visitation was Wednesday.
