Avie Wylene Anderson, age 83, of Alma passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on August 11, 1935 to the late John Henry Lee and Eliza Edith Harper Lee. Her son, Randy Anderson preceded her in death. She was a life long member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Watson Anderson of Alma, two daughters, Wanda Anderson Carithers (Robert) of Waverly, GA. and Jodi Lewis (Scott) of Pooler, GA., four grandchildren, Nickolas Castricone, IV (Susanna), William & Graham Carithers and Logan Lewis and a great-granddaughter, Elenor Harper Castricone.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Miles and Rev. Charles Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be: Nickolas Castricone, IV, Logan Lewis, William Carithers, Graham Carithers, Roger Holland, Wade Johnson and Don Cothern. Honorary pallbearers will be; The Hardee’s Breakfast Bunch and Friendship Church Sr. Adult Sunday School Class.
