Mr. Lawrence Brizzi (Larry) Cicigline, age 41, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 13, 2005, at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1963, in New Hartford, NY, a son of Lawrence R. and MaryAnn Dakin Cicigline and was educated in local schools. Larry was a brilliant artist, whose works have been seen throughout the city. He had a love of music and at one time had his own band known as "Backflash." In 2001, Larry received the City of Utica, "Good Samaritan Award" for saving several people's lives during an early morning fire. Due to his valiant efforts there were no fatalities in that fire. Surviving are his son, Jason Covey of Frankfort; his parents, Larry and MaryAnn Cicigline of Frankfort; one brother, Raymond Cicigline and Phyllis McClintock of Utica; one sister and brother-in-law, Laura and David Behr of Oriskany; his nieces and a nephew, Rachel Cicigline, Julianna and Joseph Behr; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
