IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Naomi Marilyn Winther Walton, 76, of Idaho Falls, died June 13, 2007, at her home. She was under care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

She was born February 9, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Nils Tresius
Winther and May Howells Winther. The family later moved to Idaho Falls where she attended Emerson Elementary, O. E. Bell Jr. High and Idaho Falls High School.

She married Hollis Walton June 12, 1951, in Butte, Montana. She worked for L. S. Taube Potato Processing in Idaho Falls, from which she retired.

She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, camping, fishing, gardening and collecting dolls.

Survivors include:
Husband: Hollis Walton, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Barney Walton, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Hollie Walton, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Ralph Winther, St. George, UT
Sister: Ramona Day, Boise, ID
7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Norman, Wallace and Willard Winther.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Rose Hill Cemetery, corner of 21st and Rollandet Streets, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue before proceeding to the cemetery.
