Born March 20, 1927 in Colquitt County, Ms. Hamilton was the daughter of the late Dellie Johnson and Lucille Bryant Johnson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Kendell and Agnes Johnson; and two brothers, Jack Johnson and William Johnson. Before retiring, she was a waitress at the Lankford Manor and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kelltown. She was also a member of the Red Hat Club at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia. She enjoyed bowling, gardening and caring for her cats.
Ms. Hamilton is survived by five daughters and two sons-in-law; two sisters; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
