PILKEY, TONYA ANN, age 54 of Tellico Plains, passed away 1:11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a beloved member of Ballplay Tabernacle Church of God. She enjoyed photography as a hobby and spending time with family. Preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Bonnie Best. Survivors: spouse of 27 years, Johnny (Bones) Pilkey; two daughters that loved her, Bonnie Bradburn and husband, Kenny, of Maryville; Kallie Bivens and husband, Michael, of Tellico Plains; Grandchildren, Autumn Pilkey, Kendra Bradburn, Austin Ellis, Aidyn Pilkey and Koltyn Pilkey; sisters, Rita Majava, Judy Chastain, Cathy Ivens, and twin sister, Tina Byrd, all of Tellico Plains; Brother, Michael Best, of Maryville; Several nieces and nephews; Mother-in-law, Jean Mathews. Funeral 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Ballplay Tabernacle Church of God, Rev. Michael Bivens, Rev. Samuel Hollingshead officiating. Interment 3:00 p.m. Friday, in the church cemetery.
