Charles Edward Bradford, of Joshua, Texas, went to be with his Savior Monday, May 13th, 2019. He was born September 5th, 1942, to Cordell “Cordie” Bradford and Christina Pearl Bradford.

Charles joined the army fresh out of high school and came home from training in Germany to work for Atmos Energy and then finally Santa Fe Railroad. An injury forced him to retire after many years of dedicated service.

He was a loving Poppy to his 5 step-grandchildren and loved to watch westerns and retell stories of all of his adventures in life. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church in Cleburne for many years.

Charles was preceded in death by his mom, dad, and brother Larry Bradford.

He is survived by wife, Lynn Bradford; sons, Jonathan and Chuck Bradford of Cleburne; step-daughter, Kristin Shamblin and husband, Eric of Mexia; step-son, Matthew McNew and Kayleigh of Arlington; Two step-granddaughters, Bella and Zoe McNew of Arlington; and three step-grandsons, Caleb, Ethan, and Derek Shamblin of Mexia; sister-in-law Minnie Bradford; nephew Troy Bradford and niece Tiffany (Brian) Fojtasek; and 5 great nieces and nephews.”
