Jack Barton of Calgary passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Funeral Services held at McInnis & Holloway's Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North, Calgary) on Saturday, March 17, 2007. Graveside service on March 19, 2007.

Joined California Standard Oil Company (Chevron Resources) as a mechanic and welder and eventually becoming the Supervisor in the Land Department, retiring in 1981
Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #264
Avid sportsman - hockey, baseball, hunting, fishing, curling and golf
