Janet Louise (nee Klaas) Mohr, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May
11, 2019 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, MO.
She was born January 31, 1933 in Koenig, MO. She was the only child born to the late
Henry and Dena (nee Rohlfing) Klaas. She grew up on the family farm and received her
8 th grade diploma from College Hill School in College Hill, MO. Her family then moved
to Marshall, MO. Janet was a 1951 graduate of Marshall Senior High School. After
graduation, she attended and graduated from Central Business College in Kansas City,
MO. She moved to St. Louis, and in 1954, she married the late Harold Mohr with whom
she shared 62 years of marriage.
She is survived by their three children: Diane Mohr, Darrell Mohr, and Dale Mohr, a
sister-in-law Shirley Mohr, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation is at Ortmann’s, 9222 Lackland, Overland, MO on Thursday, May 16, 3-8 p.m.
Funeral service is at Calvary United Church of Christ, 2501 Hartland, St. Louis, MO
63114 on May 17, 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Calvary. Internment is at Oak
Grove Cemetery.
