THOMAS S. DOTSON
(1875-1961)
Thomas S. Dotson, 85, died Monday morning at the Penton Nursing Home, where he had resided one week.
He was born Sept. 27, 1875, near Byer in Vinton County and was the son of Isaac and Jane Dodton. On August 26, 1911, he married Mary Nichols, who died in 1954.
During the last seven years, he resided at the Harly Dozer residence, Chillicothe, Route 2.
Mr. Dotson's only survivors include several half-nieces and half-nephews.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Log Pile Church in Vinton County, with the Rev. Everett Allman officiating. Friends may call at the Wrightsel Funeral Home, McArthur, after noon on Tuesday.
