Frederick Lewis Blanchard

Frederick Lewis Blanchard, youngest child of Lucius B. and Len Blanchard, was born in Princeville on Oct 5th, 1902. When he was about 7 years old, he was left motherless. He became a courteous, gentle boy. During his last sickens, which last 2 months, he showed great patience and unselfishness. He was in the 7th grade at school and attended the Methodist Sunday School, being a member of Mr. Dart's class. He passed away Feb 12th, 1915 at the age of 12 years, 4 months and 7 days.

He is survived by his father and foster-mother, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Blanchard, his sister Mrs. Mildred Hofer and his brother Elwyn, besides many other relatives.

The funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by the Rev. Stanley Ward. The quartet was composed of Miss Rie Henry, Miss Margaret Edwards, A. A. Dart and Peter Auten. Mrs. LeRoy Wear was organist. Many beautiful floral tributes were given and a large company of friends, among them, many of the school children gathered for the services.
