She was the daughter of William Henry and Della Dennis Marsh. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Thomas (J. T.) Allen, Jr.; her second husband, Willis Junior Coggins; son, Jimmy Allen; six sisters, Dorothy Woody, Roxie Dowdy, Maude Darnell, Ethel Bowers, Nellie Murphy, and Ollie Fields; and three brothers, Henry Marsh, Clyde Marsh, and Jasper Marsh. She was survived by three sons, Wayne Allen (Mary Ann), Tony Allen (Karin), and Gray Allen; two daughters, Rebecca Stone (Charles) and Brenda Hall (Jerry); stepdaughter, Gladys McInnis; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
