Tom Byrnes Dollahite, age 80, Wilson Street, died Monday at a local hospital after a brief illness. Surviving daughters, Mrs. Beatrice McCay, Gadsden; Mrs. Pauline Henson, Chattanooga, TN; Mrs. Elsie Neeley and Mrs. Joyce Babb, Pensacola, FL; son, Isaac Dollahite, Gadsden; stepson, Luther Allred, Gadsden; brothers, E.L., R.L. Dollahite, Gadsden; sister, Mrs. Faye Stafford, Gadsden; nine grandchildren. Service tomorrow 3:30 p.m. Walnut Street Baptist Church and burial Crestwood Cemetery. He was a native of Tahoma, Mississippi and a resident of Etowah County most of his life. He was a member of Walnut Park Baptist church and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
