Theresa was married to Alex Morales. Alex passed away on February 8, 2012, they were married 38 years. Theresa and Alex lived in Morenci, Arizona until 2009. After Alex retired from Freeport McMonRan in 2009 they moved to Mesa, Arizona.

Theresa is survived by her sons; Daniel, Joseph, Adrian and Angel. One daughter, Suzanne.
