They had eight children: Robert Oscar, Mary Anna, Clyde Oren, James Forbes (Jimmie) Jr., Hazel Belle, John Johnston, Glenn William and Helen Margaret. After Robert Oscar, Mary Anna, and Clyde Oren were born, the family moved to Illinois to the family farm in Wapella, DeWitt Co., IL sometime after June of 1890.
