PORTLAND--Mrs. Flossie B. Silvers, 86, died Friday in Jay County Hospital. She was a former resident of the Powers Station community.
A native of Jay County, Mrs. Silvers was a member of Pleasant Vale Congregational Christian Church, its Ladies Aid Society, and Jefferson Township Home Economics Club. She was the widow of Elva Silvers.
Surviving are a son, Royce Silver, Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Morrical and Mrs. Kelly Stephen, Portland; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Saturday. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Marlilee Duckworth officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey.
