Roy, the son of John and Florence Hollon of Cora, married 18 March 1908.

Ten children born, those surviving with wife Nora, are Oscar and Earl of Browning Missouri; Mrs Lee Allen of Chillicothe Missouri; Mrs Beryl Bundridge of Cora Missouri; Elsie, Verl, Clyde, Floyd and Dean Hollon of the home. Otis, the oldest was killed in Europe 14 April 1944 and is buried near London.

Leaves also brothers and sisters, Homer Hollon of Oakland California; Evert Hollon of Browning; Mrs Willard Jones of Chillicothe; Lindley Hollon of Purdin Missouri; Edward Hollon of Brookfield Missouri; Mrs Harden Wood of Browning and Mrs Edith Thurlo of Chillicothe.
