Byard, Sanford Lee, 83, of Glover Gap W.Va., died Wednesday evening in the Weston Medical Center. He was born in Wetzel County, April 10, 1881, a son of Isaac and Millie J. Davis Byard and was a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a member of Manning Lodge No. 31, AF & AM Married twice his wives preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Ike of Fairmont; two daughters, Mrs Loraine Moore of Winfield, Kan. and Mrs. Mary Murphy of Lorain, o.; a brother, Mancel, of Mannington; a sister, Mrs. Fannie White of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and six-great grandchildren. Friends received at the Hunt Funeral Home. Hundred, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Evangelist C.W. Rock officiating Burial in Bee Gum Cemetery. Masonic rites at the graveside.
