Nathaniel Batchelder and Elizabeth Foss were married September 09, 1685 in Hampton Falls, Rockingham county, New Hampshire.

Nathaniel is my 6th great-grandfather. He is also my 6th great-granduncle, my 2nd cousin 8 times removed and my 2nd cousin 9 times removed. Nathaniel was a farmer. This couple had seven sons and two daughters. Nathaniel was one of the first to spell his name "Batchelder." He was one of the assessors of Hampton Falls, NH in 1719-20 and a selectman in 1722 and was one of the original proprietors of Chester. >BLH, from various sources.

•Deborah who was born April 9, 1686 in Hampton. Deborah married on January 08, 1707/08, David Tilton. He is the son of Daniel and Mehitable (Sanborn) Tilton. David was born October 30, 1682 and died May 26, 1729.
•Nathaniel who was born February 19, 1689/90 in Hampton and died October 1723 in Kensington. He married, on February 24, 1716/17 in HamptonFalls, Sarah Robie who was born March 27, 1689 and died c1771. She is the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Page) Robie of Hampton.
•John who was born July 28, 1692 in Hampton and died March 16, 1753. He lived in Kensington and was a farmer. He was known as Deacon John. He held nearly all town offices but was moderator nearly every year from 1738 to his death. He was chosen Constable of Kensington April 18, 1737. John married on December 30, 1714 in Hampton Falls, Abigail Cram, daughter of John and Mary (Wadleigh) Cram of Hampton Falls. Abigail was born September 10, 1695 and died February 25, 1773. They had 15 children.
•Nathan who was born July 2, 1700 in Hampton Falls and died March 17, 1755 in East Kingston. He married on February 25, 1723/24 in Hampton Falls, Mary Tilton, daughter of Captain Joseph and Margaret (Sherburne) Tilton. Mary was born March 03, 1703/04 in Hampton Falls and died May 31, 1770. There are 9 children.
•Phinehas who was born November 1, 1701 in Kingston and died January 16, 1793 in East Kingston. He was a farmer, a prominent citizen and captain in the Colony militia. Phinehas married on January 17, 1726/27, Elizabeth Gilman, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Ladd) Gilman of Kingston, NH. Elisabeth was born March 22, 1708/09 in Kingston and died May 27, 1773 in East Kingston. There are 11 children.
•Ebenezer who was born December 10, 1710 in Hampton and died January 27, 1780 in East Kingston. He married on February 01, 1732/33, Dorothy Boynton who was born December 12, 1715 in Newbury, Essex co, MA and died after December 15, 1784. She is the daughter of William and Joanna (Stevens) Boynton. They had 9 children.
