Mrs. Fannie Mangum
On August 30th at 6 p.m. a home and community was made sad by the loss of a Christian mother and friend, Mrs. Fannie Mangum. Since the family moved to the Watkias (Watkins) Community about nine years ago, all had learned to love and respect her as a very loyal and enthusiastic worker in the church, Sunday school, home and community. She was a member of the Cana Baptist church, joining the church elsewhere in 1913. She was 33 years of age at the time of her death. She leaves a husband, Ed Mangum, six children, a mother, Mrs. Bush, two brothers, Wade and Roy Bush, the latter of Kaufman and a sister, Mrs. Woods of McCamey, Texas.
