Ruth D. Laughlin - Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 94, passed away on May 2 surrounded by her loving family. She was cherished by her family and all who knew her. She was always so very proud of her entire family. We will all miss her terribly, but we also take comfort in the example she set of how to love and live life to the fullest and to keep family and friends close in our hearts.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence E. Laughlin, parents, Earl & Frances Perkins, brother Earl Perkins Jr., sisters Frances (Franny) Phyle and Dorothy Huber, great grandson Jason Nevilles, son-in-laws Dale Gerdin and Bob Cornell.
Survived by 1 brother Stanley Perkins. She will be dearly missed by her sons Larry (Barb) and Mike (Sandy) and her daughters Dorlyn (Stan) Goedderz, Mary Cornell, Teri Gerdin, Kathy (Don) McFarland, Pat (Brian) Whalen, Rosie (Craig) Storie and Becky Laughlin. Also left to cherish her memory are her 21 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service as per mom's wishes. She has donated her body to research at the University of Mn. We will have a memorial at a later date. Memorials may be directed to donors choice.
