Alice Jean Wilder, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was born April 5, 1927 in Alden, KS to Frank Edward and Mary Alice Vincent. She married Floyd Leonard Wilder on November 3, 1946 in Alden, KS.
They lived in Wichita, KS and Leavenworth, KS before moving to Springfield, MO in 1953.
She was active in Family and Community Education, Ozarks Needleworkers, Lacemakers of the Ozarks, Brazilian Embroidery, Ozark Gem and Mineral Society, and a charter member of Parkview Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary, husband Leonard, siblings, Nita (Vincent) Gillen, Doran Vincent, Harvey Vincent, Walt Vincent, Helen (Vincent) Royer, and Dick Vincent.
She is survived by daughters, Diane & (Roger) Shields; Pam & (Richard) Tucker; son, David Wilder, & (Edwina) Wilder.
Grandchildren: Sean Shields, Shannon Shields, Danielle (Shields) Iles, Ryan & (Emily) Shields, Shane Shields, Mike Wade, Jason Tucker, Lina (Tucker) & (Jon) Reinders, Brian Tucker, Jessica (Wilder) & (Paul) Gomes and Laura (Wilder) & Paul Orscheln.
Great grandchildren: Sierra Shields, William Shields, Sutton Shields, Christian Iles, Tabby (Iles) & Nicholas Forshee, Jack Shield, Dean Shields, Max White, Cici White, Serenity Wade, Annemieke Reinders, Jamison Reinders, Ellen Reinders, Andrew Winsted, Julius Tucker, Jaina Tucker, Braelyn Gomes and soon to be baby Orscheln.
