Mrs. Nancy Anna Lamb (nee Boswell) was born in Dallas county, Arkansas, September 24, 1867, and departed this life June 9, 1934, aged 66 years, 8 months and 15 days.
Mrs. Lamb had been in ill health for many years, but she bore her afflictions with Christian patience and courage.
She was a member of the Bethlehem M. E. church. She was a true Christian, which was exemplified in her daily life, by her devotion to her husband and children. Her hands were ever ready and glad to do the multitude of little acts of kindness and mercy which go to make up the joy and peace of home.
Mrs. Lamb was a tender, loving companion, a kind, devoted sister, and a loyal, sympathetic neighbor and friend. Despite her afflictions, which caused her almost constant pain and suffering, she never failed to look after the comfort and happiness of her family. Her's was a beautiful life of devotion and sacrifice. She lived for her family. Her's was a noble Christian example, a sweet, pure and beautiful life. These are her bequest to her family and to mankind.
She leaves to mourn her departure the husband, Thomas Calvin Lamb, and two children, Bernard F., and Agnes Marie, and one sister and three brothers, Mrs. Mary E. McDaniel, Harrisburg, ILL.; Bernie N. Boswell, Norris City, ILL.; J.B. Boswell, Troy, ILL., and John L. Boswell.
Besides these she leaves two grandchildren and many other relatives and a multitude of friends
Goodbye, companion, Mother, and Sister,

"We shall meet beyond the River, Where the surges cease to roll."
