Lois Neal, cherished and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the age of 72.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Mike Neal. Lois is also survived by sons, Keith and Gregory Paul Neal; daughters-in-law, Beverly and Becky; grandchildren, John Michael and wife Janet, Jeremy and wife Michelle, Jessica and Isaac Holguin, Chasidy Stafford and Kenny Wayne Harvard; great-grandchildren, Savannah Harvard, Tye Stafford, and her "little redhead," Noah Neal; siblings, Buddy Achord, Esther Murphy, Shirley Hicks, Ouida Watts, Rodney Achord and Mary Bridges; and dearest friends, Pat Sibley and Dean Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Lena Achord; sister, Evelyn Simoneaux; brother, Marshall Achord; nephews, Gary Sims and Mark Bryan Achord; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arthur and Grace Neal.
Lois was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church and devoted her life to her family. She most enjoyed cooking for everyone.
Arrangements entrusted to Seale Funeral Home, Livingston. Burial will be at Stafford Cemetery No. 1, La. 1036, Holden.
