Bobbi was born December 5, 1936 in Springfield Missouri to the late Claude Brake and Annabel Stubbs Brake Felkner.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by Dean Manuel, husband, James Brake, brother, and Anne Brake, sister.
She is survived by daughters, Brenda Cassel (Tom) and Lynn Norris, grandchildren Tristan Cassel, Kellyn Cassel, Justin Norris and great granddaughter Emilee Norris
As a teen ager Bobbi was a accomplished champion fiddler musician and played on the radio during the 1950's. It was during this time that she met and married Dockie Dean Manuel. They married in Reno Nevada in 1955 and settled in Nashville in 1960 where Dean followed his county music career. He was tragically lost in 1964 along side country music artist Jim Reeves. Dean and Bobbi had 2 daughters Brenda and Lynn.
Bobbi continued to raise their daughters and cherished her girls. She was a wonderful and loving mother. She devoted her life to her family and always loved cooking a big dinner for them. She had a humerous personality and always made people laugh. Bobbi was a talented musician as well as becoming a expert beautician. She received her beautician license in the 70's and opened a beauty salon in Nashville. She enjoyed her career for many years and met many great friends and coleages during this time. She was a baptized member of Crievewood United Methodist Church.
She has left wonderful memories with family and her friends and will be missed.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date
