He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy A. (Sanocki) Corp and loving father to Bruce A. Corp and Cynthia L. Corp.
Bruce was the son of the late Clarence A. Corp and Mary A. (Hopkins) Corp and brother of Sylvia Bell and Martha Jordan.
A veteran of the US Army with the rank of SP3, he had been stationed in Thule, Greenland. A machinist by trade, he retired after working thirty years for Electric Boat / General Dynamics in Groton, CT. He was also a proud member of the Manchester Masonic Lodge #12 F. & A.M, a Shriner with the Rhode Island Palestine Lodge and a member of the Hill Farm Fire Department fire and rescue teams.
Having built his own home for his family, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and anything mechanical. He always referred to himself as an “Old Swamp Yankee”.
