Paul Raymond Pullen was first child of Gilbert Henry (Gil) and Bessie Susan (Gregg) Pullen, and was born in Creighton, MO.
Paul married Esther Lucille Wells on Dec 22 1935 and their children were Ruth LaDon, Paul Ray and Nancy Karen.
Paul divorced Lucille and married Zelma Ilene Webb and lived the remainder of his life with her in Kansas City, KS. They had no children but lived with a variety of beloved pets, many taken in as strays.
He died of a heart attack and was found the following morning in his easy chair with his cold pipe in his hand and his favorite dog curled up in his lap.
His parents, son and a half-brother predeceased him. His brother, Kenneth, died four months after Paul, also of a heart attack.
Paul shares a crypt with Zelma I (Webb) Pullen, who died in 2006.

PAUL R. PULLEN RITES
Paul R. Pullen, 69, of 28 South 24th Street, Kansas City, Kan., passed away at his home Jan. 2, 1982. He was born in Creighton, Mo. and his parents were the late Gilbert H. and Bessie Gregg Pullen. He had lived in the Kansas City area since 1946 and worked for the Bendix Corporation 26 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Victoria Tabernacle.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zelma E. Pullen of the home; two daughters, Mrs. LaDon Brennan of Liverpool, NY and Mrs. Karen Heidebrecht of Harrisonville, Mo.; two brothers Kenneth Pullen of Creighton and Gilbert Pullen of Urich, and six grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 5 with burial in the Highland Park Mausoleum, Kansas City.
