1) Newton Wood, age unknown, residing in Wake County, NC who is listed in the 1812-1814 Muster Rolls, the 1840 Pensioners Lists, and the 1890 Veterans Schedules, all used as census substitutes on Ancestry.com.
2) William Wood who is listed as being 82 yrs. old in 1840, which would make him about 22-23 when ANNA was born in 1791.
3) Kinchen or Kinchion Wood (1762-1836) married to Faraby Jackson (1775-1874).
None of these people ever left NC according to records. How ANNA got to Knox County, TN to marry JAMES ALLDREDGE is unknown.
