Services for Albert S. “Bug” Lewter, Sr., 75, of 522 Naples Ave., Cayce, will be held at 4 p.m. today at Cayce United Methodist Church, with burial in Southland Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the church. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is in charge.

Mr. Lewter died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1993. Born in Cayce, he was a son of the late Badger Sherwood and Margaret Kaigler Lewter. He was a member of Cayce United Methodist Church and retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad. He was a member of Cayce Masonic Lodge 384, Jamil Temple Legion of Honor, Scottish Rite, York Rite and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine Williams Lewter, a daughter, Lynn Gordon of Lexington; a son, Michael Lewter, Sr., of West Columbia; a sister, Carolyn Ralston of Cayce; a brother, Billy Lewter of Stockton, Calif,; and four grandchildren.
