HUBBARD – There will be services held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Vincent A. Forte, 91, formerly of Masury, who passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Countryside at The Elmwood in Hubbard.
Vincent was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Youngstown, a son of Guido and Antonia Gagliardi Forte.
Vincent enjoyed golf and traveling.
He was a carpenter for many years for LaCivita Construction, retiring in 1989.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War and a member of VFW No. 3767.
His wife, the former Alice L. Davis, whom he married July 3, 1954, passed away Jan. 22, 2011.
He will be sadly missed by his family, his nephew, Alex (Bridget) Forte of Hubbard, and his nieces, Paula (John) Shelton of Hubbard and Deborah Perine.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; and his brothers, Alexander Forte and Paul Forte.
There will be calling hours prior to the service on Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
Vincent will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
